Auguste Luise Schwartz

Auguste was born on December 20st, 1840 in Dagersheim, Wuerttemberg, Germany to unknown parents.

She married Christoff Ziegler in 1861 when he was twenty nine and she was eighteen.

I have their first child listed as Blanche, but with no other information, and she is not on any of their census records. Given Wilhelm's birth date and their marriage date, it's entirely possible she didn't exist.

Their second child, Wilhelm "William", was born on December 17th, 1860 in Sheboygan, WI.

Their third child, Otto, was born on June 3rd 1866 in Sheboygan, WI.

Their fourth child, Albert, was born on November 29th, 1867 in Wisconsin.

Their fifth child, Carl, was born in January of 1870.

In 1870 Christoff and Auguste lived in Sheboygan Falls, WI with their first four boys in a house that was valued at $4,500. He worked as a grist miller.

Their sixth child, Rudolf, was born about 1871.

Their seventh child, Louis J., was born in January of 1875.

Their eighth child, Gustav, was born on September 21st, 1877 in Sheboygan, WI.

In 1880 they were still in Sheboygan with five children; Otto, Albert, Rudolph, Louie and Gustave. He was still a miller.

Their ninth child, Herman, was born on August 29th, 1880 in Wisconsin.

Their tenth child, Augusta, was born in March of 1883 in Wisconsin.

In 1900 they were still in Sheboygan with four of their children; Louie, Herman and Augusta (Gusta), and a boarder named Reinhold Heubner. Christoff was listed as a shoe* dealer. Augusta is listed as the mother of eleven children, six of them still living. I hope to find more information on the missing birth, and the missing death dates of their children.

Christoff died some time between late 1900 and mid 1905.

In 1905 she was living with two of her adult children, Herman and Augusta, and a boarder named Otto Eisold in Sheboygan. Herman was a clerk, and Otto was a barber.

We don't know when Auguste died.
