Florella Moore

Florella was born in 1825 in New York in the United States to Oliver Moore and Judith Pixley. She was the oldest of seven children, six girls and one boy.

Florella married John E. Bishop on March 14th, 1851 in Yorkshire, NY. She was twenty five years old.

Their first child, Romilia (or Lomelia), was born on June 20th, 1855 in Freedom, NY.

Their second child, Romain Otis, was born on February 11th, 1857 in Bengal, MI.

Their third child, Judith E., was born June 26th, 1859 in Ingham, MI.

Their fourth child, Ellsworth A., was born on July 16th, 1861 in Ingham, MI.

John died in 1862.

By 1870 Florella had returned to Allegany, NY with her children.

In 1880 she was fifty five years old and living alone in Allegany, NY.

She died in1890 in Allegany, NY at age sixty four, and was buried in the Allegany Cemetery.
