Christian Vilhelm Kock

Christian was born on November 22nd, 1849 in København, Denmark to Johannes Peter Conrad Kock and Engline Vilhelmine Hemsen.

He married Josephine Vilhelmine Jorgensen on August 2nd, 1872 in Copenhagen, Denmark when he was twenty two years old and she was twenty seven.

Their first child, Agnes Marie Hensenia Philhemina, was born on January 24th, 1872 in Copenhagen, and was christened in Vor Frues Kirke (Our Lady's Church) in Denmark.

Their second child, Lydia Vilhelmine, was born on January 22nd, 1873 in Copenhagen, and was christened in Vor Frues Kirke (Our Lady's Church) in Denmark.

Their third child, Alma Christine, was born on September 13th, 1875 in Copenhagen, and was christened in Vor Frelsers Kirke (Our Savior's Church) in Denmark. She died on November 14th just two months later.

Their fourth child, Selma Marie, was born on September 12th, 1876 in Copenhagen. was christened in Vor Frelsers Kirke (Our Savior's Church) in Denmark. She died on March 27th, 1877 at just six months old.

Their fifth child, Olga, was born in 1877 in Denmark.

Their sixth child, Arthur Johannes Vilhelm, was born on December 9th, 1878 in Copenhagen, and was christened in Vor Frelsers Kirke (Our Savior's Church) in Denmark.

Lydia died on February 26th, 1879 in Copenhagen when she was six years old.

Little Olga died on June 1st, 1879 in Copenhagen at two years old.

Christian and Agnes left Denmark with Agnes and Arthur, and arrived in Utah some time between 1879 and 1882.

Their seventh child, Carl, was born on October 6th, 1882 in Salt Lake City, UT in the United States.

Their eighth and last child,  Laura Josephine, was born on February 15th, 1884 in Salt Lake City, UT. She died in July of that year at five months old.

Carl died in November of 1884 when he was two years old, just four months after baby Laura.

Christian died on April 8th, 1917 in Provo, UT and was buried in the Provo City Cemetery.

Their last name was later spelled as Koch and Cook.
